Playground

I'm excited to introduce you "Playground": A song that triggered in me, during the production. Those feelings that I last had when hip-hop became big in the 90's. Back then and until today I have the urge to listen to the heavy loops of famous artists like: "A Tribe Called Quest", " J Dilla", "Jurassic 5", "Dj Premier" and their contemporaries up and down. Even back then, it was my passion to capture these sounds and I wanted be able to express them in my form. When the idea came to me, to realize such a project, which is incredibly relevant to me, I was inspired by the vibe of the first recorded "Vibraphone". Piece by piece, the first drum elements flowed in, which is what the whole piece is built on.
In a short solo of my "Fender Rhodes" I express the need to let every little inspiration have its place. Supportive, but also a bit reserved, I finally signed "Playground" with the playing of my "Fender Jazz Bass". It is impossible to imagine my production without it.
With "Playground" I play in thoughts of my youth and let my head bounce in the past. My most intimate project so far, which brings to life my true passion "When Hip Hop Meets Jazz". Enjoy!
